The lettering on the spine follows the same order for all the titles: author, title, publisher. Month and year of publication (”First published in”) is stated on the copyright page in all titles. On some of the titles seen the lettering on the spine has faded. This is noted below as ”(presumably) gilt lettering”.

The order of the books is by the month noted on the book’s title page. For books with the same month alphabetical order of the titles is used.
